It's been all the more reputible publishers for me recently. If there is one place AI could benefit would be to make sure papers meet the guide for authors before they are sent to reviewers. One had 2 manuscripts in the submission - how do the authors and editors not catch this before sending it out

I have rejected so many papers recently for things which should have not passed the desk review - journals need to get better at pre-screening as this would stop a lot of reviewers getting annoyed by the quality of the papers being sent to them. This should be done by the publishers not the editors

Cardboard can only be recycled so many times before it’s no longer possible to recycle it. It will release GHG when decomposing so this is an alternative which also provides energy and inc energy security. Well that’s the idea anyway
