honestly? i think they're terrified some of the refugees will be folks comfortable enough with direct action that they went up against the army with 3d printed guns and varmint rifles. wouldn't want that rubbing off on u.s. protesters, only the authorities are supposed to be shooting people here.

just last year i thought that the dems were going to slam dunk the election by laughing at republicans and calling them weird and letting tim walz talk as much as possible, and then they were just like "haha psych!" so, like, what's even real?
