Be safe Tony. Wind and rain here too, but nothing like that!

No audio because no audio stream is being sent. Only a data stream - likely something encrypted.

About 30 kW is rather likely what we were receiving today. Really, not bad at all that far across the pond!

From what I see for their HFCC registration of that freq, they claim 100 kW for analogue service. Likely a quarter of that in DRM unless they are using a different TXer or site. Regular CNR programming would probably sound pretty good. Not RNZ good due to the bitrate and codec, but awfully close.

Audio frequency analysis. They are using 11.64 kb AAC mono. Not bad, but a better codec would have yielded quite a bit nice audio for the bitrate they were using.

Used to listen to RNZI DRM for hours on end, when their beaming heading favored PNW. Those were the days that convinced me about the real value of DRM on hf.

Note to self: "foster seely ratio discriminator using diodes" is a great album title! I only lack a band name. Thank god for AI...

Ah ha, Great! Anxious to hear. In the world of testing, I’ve heard the “good old days” weren’t necessarily good.
