The point of Thanksgiving is the side dishes; turkey is extraneous to requirements.

I think what seems oddest to me about those cushions is that if you actually sat on one and put your back against the wall, it would be really uncomfortable to lean back.

Maybe this is some sort of posture training institute?

Yes. And?

I am guessing photons.

Honestly, I would have done ham, but my mother put her foot down over ham being the meat at literally all of the other holiday feasts at our house, we had to do something different.

My family used to do Cornish game hens for Thanksgiving. Each person got their own so there was never any negotiation about who got drumsticks, and we made stock out of whatever was left.

For me it would primarily be tax documents. Possibly cat health records. Maybe owners manuals for some stuff?

Also, my particular sardonic humor wants to keep saying "Remember: If you see something, say nothing, and drink to forget", but I worry that people wouldn't get that it's a reference and not encouragement.

I've never been drunk; I have seen too many alcoholics, and some on both sides of my extended family, to ever feel like it's worth the risk.

But over this past year, I have certainly better understood the appeal than at any prior point.

Probably not the best thing for a work context, given accessibility concerns.

I was thinking more like a field day from the local Parks and Rec department. That could pool enough people --inherently willing, if they sign up for it -- to handle multiple events of different access levels.

Both my Kindle version and my print version have what Sean's is.

Personally, I had a couple of MRIs when I had a stroke.

Turns out having a stroke at the age of 17 causes a lot of medical freaking out, as people who have strokes are typically either under 6 or over 40.

Was your luggage gifted to you by Mary Poppins?

I also bought a miniature chest and some pyrite for it.

I, um, may have bought a bunch of them a few years ago as part of expanding my mineral collection. And as potential tokens for board games. And/or in hopes of eventually having another TTRPG group who may or may not need a good hoard.

Side note: If you have a witch character who use crystals in their magic, this should be much more affordable for them in an era of good laboratory crystal generation.

Not "let's pretend this cubic zirconia is a diamond". More like "this perfect emerald costs $6 because it was grown in a lab and doesn't have any imperfections like a naturally produced one would"

Information that may or may not be relevant to you:

You can easily find -- on eBay, for example -- quite inexpensive lab grown gemstones that have the exact same chemical composition of really expensive jewels, but cost less because people are weird.

I looked up the official tiaras and am disappointed. Tiaras should be substantially more sparkly.
