It is SO disappointing to see the amount of willful ignorance and anti-intellectualism in the world. Especially in our community. There was a time when folks took pride in staying up on current events, being knowledgeable about their professions, and making sure their kids were smarter than them.

Gas, electric, water, sanitation. Even my car insurance went up, and my car is 10+ years old and paid off 🤨

And when those Medicaid cuts kick in, those folks are really gonna be screaming. For so many of them the ‘family business’ = SSI disability + Medicaid + SNAP
