I wrote Chapter 3
In 2002, I could not afford this book while a nurse anesthesia graduate student with a 5 month old. On a regular basis, I had to borrow this book from classmates for reading assignments in Philadelphia. Finally, graduated w/ academic honors. Now, students are reading my chapter. 🙌🏽

Having the opportunity to network with faculty, staff, and students was so vital. Thank you for continuing to fight the good fight. Fun fact there are about 3-4 % of Black CRNA’s in the workforce. There is less than 1 percent of African American male crna’s and I’ll be joining this elite group.
