Primary mayor Pete had great policies & was pro trans. Once the convention happened, the "smoke filled room" meetings he used to decry happened, the DNC forced him out for Sec'y Transpo spot, & then pivoted to centrist DNC policies, that's when he lost the left & non cis white assimilationist queers

This is how pervasive it is in some places. Do the math and imagine 9 copays just to find a physician who will do a procedure you already know in advance you need.
My ex wife had to go to 9 different doctors in WI to get her tubes tied because of this shit.
Many people dismissed the announcement Catholic hospitals will ban gender-affirming care nationwide under the assumption that there will be other options. In reality, Catholic hospitals make up as much 46% of options in some states. This map is 2020, prior to Trump’s assault on safety net hospitals.
