Also, even as pensions for regular workers were dissolved, those in the C-suite kept theirs.

So far I've been able to resit the "you too" when the folks at the gym desk tell me to have a good work out.

File under: Things trump would never do

Even whey yelling at the Khashoggi question, a name that they *just* said, he could only refer to him as "that guy you brought up".

I'm thinking he was the bully sidekick/toady.
November 21, 2025 at 6:43 PM
Probably they were the bullies

"The revenue from yogurt is many times that of carrots, that's why we pay the folks that work the dairy department many times what we pay the folks that work producet"
November 18, 2025 at 9:08 PM
I'd rather the players take more of the revenue that the idle "owners". Maybe cut their profits and raise the salaries of all the stadium workers as well.
November 18, 2025 at 9:05 PM
The WNBA and NBA are the same thing; same owners. Looking at them as different entities is like looking at the produce and dairy sections of a grocery store as different entities and determining pay for those workers independently.
November 18, 2025 at 9:03 PM
I would argue that WNBA is really just a subset of the NBA so looking at them separately is just a shell game done to "justify" paying them less.

If I own a grocery store, I don't pay folks in the produce department differently from those in the dairy department.

Good observation!

And that tells us a LOT about his followers.

Does... does he know corporations aren't people? Like, there is no dude named JP Morgan Chase. He does know that... right?

Is... she making the "...well *technically* it ins't pedophilia because 15-year-olds don't have child-like features..." argument?! Seriously?!?

Yet another reason for ranked-choice-voting!
November 11, 2025 at 8:43 PM
Ranked-choice voting stops that. It's first-past-the-post and this kind of lesser-evil strategy it forces you into that kills 3rd parties.
November 11, 2025 at 8:42 PM
2-party-only really never worked great.
November 11, 2025 at 8:41 PM
Centrism is flawed. Tell us, what is the "centrist" position between "everyone deserves civil rights" and "only some people deserve civil rights"?
November 11, 2025 at 8:40 PM
We need changes to laws that give better ballot access to 3rd parties. Ranked-choice-voting would be a great first step; removing obscene rules for signature acquisition would also be good. But neither R or D will pass those laws. Because they know they'll lose power.
November 11, 2025 at 8:39 PM
I'll *never* understand that mentality. Like, Cons fundamentally believe there should be jobs that are so horrible, nobody should want to do them and that they'll just (magically?!?) cycle out of them eventually for the next group to be shat upon. Sociopaths. Every one of them.
