This has been a tough year for many people and it gets hard to see the positive sometimes so this week I am writing some blog posts celebrating some good moments this year. First up, an evening with Garrison Keillor: livinginthemoments.org/2024/12/23/c...

Just what Boxing Day needed. A bank robbery thriller from 1961 in which bank manager Peter Cushing berates an employee for dirty nibs on fountain pens. “This isn’t a post office you know!”

Threads or BlueSky? I can’t decide. Is it social media or anti-social media? Anyway, hello out there - if you are interested in occasional bad jokes from a film-loving, liberal, Unitarian, biscuit eating, university teaching Cheltenham person then follow, though my description does seem a bit niche!
