With 250 students/semester I’m thrilled if I know them at all by any part of their name. But it makes me wonder if that formal approach creates a certain vibe that could be beneficial for today’s students. 🤔

Your work is fabulous. The topics for this manual are tissue types, integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. It's an intro lab so it's pretty basic level. My budget for artwork is not huge so that'll be the constraint. :-)

My grant was an Endowed Chair, so not particularly large, I doubt I can afford the Senior Artist and founder of a company! It's just a tiny project for our gateway course. :-)

My college requires us to attest our time each week and post door schedules showing where we are for all contracted hours. So I’m not so much into working weekends anymore - funny how that works.

I’m not sure about this even if I like it on the surface. But for sure the gap is untenable when starting faculty pay is 60 grand & a President makes over 600 grand.
