That sounds about right for me. I did manage to get some more practice in though. It's ugly, but it holds well. And at least I didn't throughly mutilate the metal this time, lol.

Thank you for the advice (I'll have to use it in the future) and I mutilated the metal. So I'll have to start over. But I am certainly keeping the piece!!! How many people can say they have the first thing they have ever welded (let alone it holding together. lol 🥰
