You might not be able to get Prime with a Roku, though, I'm not sure. Since I have the Firestick, it's already from Amazon. I have a Roku TV but I use the Firestick for both Tvs now so I'm not sure what limits Roku has

I have the Amazon Firestick, but yes, the Roku is basically the same. Any TV becomes a smart TV, much better value than buying a $$ TV to upgrade (we did that too, wasn't worth it imo and ended up buying a Firestick for it anyway).

*smart TVs can be limited, so watch what you buy. Our newest one is limited to the pre-loaded services, can't access Disney or another site. In the end we bought a Firestick for that one too - much happier

Any TV with an HDMI port and then get a Firestick or Roku stick. It's the best and cheapest way to access everything.
