Yes you should be able to reduce medications after adding Spironolactone.
I withdraw based on other adverse med effects (edema = CCB; K = thiazide/RAASi)

Baxdrostat HALO study failed to reach primary endpoint - I don't know why but VERY large placebo drop in AOBP.
Trial design or conduct error. I don't think it was the drug.

It also explains why the VA Cooperative study had a signal for aortic events with only 143 patients followed over 3 years, for DBP 114-129 mmHg. 2 aortic dissections and 1 aorta rupture (all in placebo group)

I was looking for the best reference to quantify the risk of Aortic Dissection by Hypertension strata, and I think I found it.

My presumption is that the device is FDA “cleared” and the relmipirizan injectable is FDA approved (like any drug). You need both for the measurement of gfr and the device also conducts the needed PK calculations.

Appears to be approved as a package.
