Looking at the registration form for GDC and they don't even include production or QA or narrative or UI as a role you can have as a game developer 😩
A form listing game developer job functions where the options are: Game programming, game design, visual arts, audio, performer, management and operations, media, business and marketing, and education. Notably QA and Production are missing here as are other key roles such as UI, narrative, or user research
