New level of sadness/shock. One of my co-workers, on today's team call, is mad at the "left" because they engineered this giant storm to arrive this week and disrupt commerce across the US to make the president look bad. WTF? I said, "I'm pretty sure it's just weather."

Why, as a first responder, do I need to know about stabilizing pediatric gun-shot patients in a mass trauma scene and why do I need to know how to help an infant experiencing an opioid overdose? I know this is needed training. I mean why is this the way things are, why won't we do anything about it.
