Ultimately, reading helps me wind down at night and helps me not think about things too much so I want to keep doing it but man yeah those boring ones are a chore

I have a completionist streak I’m afraid but a lot of the time if I get too bored with one, I’ll read something else that I know I’ll like ( Hank the cowdog or something lmao ) and then go back to the boring one later. Also, finished book number go up if I just trundle through, and that helps 😂

I think I completely agree with you there, the ideas were solid, it was just the execution that was a bit dull. Would be open to reading his other stuff tho!

The writing style is pretty bland and the characters unfortunately don’t have much personality. There is kid 1 and kid 2, a variety of men whom I had trouble distinguishing from one another if they weren’t Hammond, Grant or Malcolm, and a few more dinosaurs.
