The story idea of season 2 was good, but much like S1 the delivery left something to be desired across every aspect of the fandom. I think it's easier to remain creatively inspired despite fandom nonsense when the source material still makes you happy. And I'm not sure if S2 did that for people

I think part of it is that we had several fandom wide dramas in the lead up and people were trying to recover from that while remaining hopeful that season 2 would be as good as PR was hyping it up to be. And then season 2 came...

Even nonshippers I've spoken to were disappointed with how it went
