Imagine your favorite movie was re-released on bluray but the image quality was poor and the picture stuttered every 2 milliseconds. Would you buy the new version? Probably not, even if the movie itself is good, it's a not a good version.

There's a difference between a bad game and a bad port. If people are avoiding the PC version because of technical issues, they're not saying the game itself is bad.
