It always depends on each person, some people deal with their pain, some people prefer to think of something else.
In my case lying about my feelings makes it worse so I just let the negativity take over for 1-2 days, it hurts a lot and I can't avoid it.

It depends on each case. For example, if I knew they're trying to find someone and still can't find the right person I guess I'd feel a little sad, but if they're ok with it and just focusing on other stuff I guess I would feel ok too haha.
