That's great but it's so upsetting that you have to. A new attention to enforcement will be key.... And I also don't think those scents are healthy for any of us...

I'm not scent sensitive, but I've been trying to keep my scented products just for at home when I can be sure nobody is bothered by it. I know people who cannot frequent public spaces anymore because of the scent overload. This is not right. We need to be solidarious with common sense and compassion

It's a human rights issue. It is considered an invisible disability, and I agree, all those scent policies of the early 2000s have not been enforced in more recent years. We need to get back on this, because it makes accessibility for many people impossible.

What about getting them tickets to a show or to the movies and going with them? Offering to spend time is such a lovey gift for elderly folks.
