The Silent Woman pub is in Wareham Forest in England.

The first of our amaryllises has opened. I love these showy bulbs and the color they bring in the midst of winter. It’s snowy outside but look—we have spring here in the living room!

In true fashion we just got around to decorating our tree today, though it has been up with its lights a twinkling for about 10 days. Going through the ornaments is a real trip into the past!

I don’t like knitting cables, so why in heaven’s name did I decide to make this? The cables are reversible, which is nice, but so much ribbing! Oy!!!
