I typically use a combination of procreate and affinity designer. Thea Flowers Gingerbread.wntr.dev tool was super helpful for getting all the layers imported into Kicad at once, vs importing the layers individually.

After testing a variety of products, and even going down the questionable rabbit hole of trying to make my own formula,I've honed in on this as my favorite option. It is non-irritating and I can use it several times a day as needed.
