I can't do takeout because shared drives doesn't allow it, and many folders are significantly larger than my storage in my own drive. So if I try to move it, it causes all sorts of issues.

I wish I knew about this before I started using a shared drive for my lab, but I was new to Google suites 🫠 🧪

You've already got lots of advice, but generally, yes. I've used antibodies kept at -20C from the 90s well into the late 2010s without issue. Only one way to find out!
