I think in mountain biking this is what they call a squirrel catcher.
An obstacle placed at the beginning of a trail that sets the tone of what you're going to encounter... if you can't handle, bail now 😂

Yup. We get less than that for a PhD and a trivial amount for Masters. My solvent bill consumes so much before I even buy anything interesting...
