While these guidelines can be helpful for non-neurologists, insurance companies always use them to justify denying medications to patients who need to be on them.

However, too much nutmeg can cause problems. Nutmeg intoxication can cause hallucinations, anxiety, confusion, dry mouth, and memory loss.

I’m not an MECFS expert but I find that SNRIs seem to help fatigue in my vestibular migraine patients. Definitely not 100% of course (nothing in medicine is) and a small number feel more fatigued on them

A huge frustration for many people (including myself) is that this would mean taking 11 separate supplements a day. Buying and taking 11 separate supplements a day is not only inconvenient but is also expensive.

There are a few studies that suggest that vitamin E, vitamin C, tryptophan, and zinc may be useful migraine prophylactics.

Vitamin B2 and magnesium have the most studies to support their use in migraine prevention. A smaller number of studies have shown that vitamin D3, coenzyme Q10, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, and folic acid are also potentially effective.
