Fortunately it never truly impacted how I lived my life outside of family trips, and a lot of them ended up coming to my wedding a few years back.

All that to say, there's a relatabiliy to the stories, even for those of us who aren't professional athletes with six packs! (4/4)

I grew up feeling very close to both sides of my family. The thought of a negative reaction to me being gay was too big of a risk for me. I had no reason to believe they would cut me off, but still, that small possibility meant I did not talk about my personal life at all around them. (3/4)

There was a period of time in my life where I felt that I needed to keep my queerness less visible. I had come out to my parents and siblings, and felt comfortable being out at work and with friends, but I had no idea how my extended family would react. (2/4)

Ghosts is so good! We binge it during the holidays while visiting my mother-in-law. Between that, Only Murders in the Building, and Abbott Elementary I feel like there is plenty of quality TV to watch!

Was super pumped to watch Duke take down UVA last night, but I was also incredibly surprised when I learned that we had made it to the championship game in the first place lol. There aren't enough games in a season to make a good case for a "championship game" in a league this big, I agree.

Ugh, sorry you’re having one of those days! I hope you can do something that brings you joy (or calm, your choice!)

Exactly! I got this for you, not for my closet! lol

Anyway my husband now has his very own waffle maker because of how often he declares wanting waffles for breakfast.

… and his “waffle maker” now has a waffle iron to make said waffles. 🤭

I’m so sorry for your loss. Losing a family member is never easy, and going through it sooner than you may have anticipated is so tough. Harley was lucky to have your support and love! ❤️

Main reason why I always volunteer to make the green bean casserole! 🤣

My mom told us this morning that last week, before he was only able to provide one-word responses, he said he was “so damn proud” of his children and grandchildren. So I’ll probably be spontaneously tearing up over that for the next week.
