There is research showing this. I can't put my hands on it at the moment, but it teased out which comes first: money or corruption (it was money).

Talked to a bookmaker a few weeks ago about the industry (before this). He was rosy in general, except for bets on indiv players, particularly in college, which he said should not exist.
He said industry needs regulation, because as long as others are taking the bets, his company will, too.

Most unbelievable part of the game for FBS fans: The game duration was 2:22 (2 hrs, 22 mins). I think I've watched halves of games on NBC that last longer than that.

With no Williams TOs left, Amherst just needs to take a few knees. They're in the victory formation, but they fumble the snap! A pile-up ensues, but the Mammoths retain possession and seal the win.
