Anyone else finding reviewing so much harder recently? I swear almost every other article that I get is either salami sliced or clearly written with AI. The publishing culture has gotten so toxic with the people gaming the system. We can and should do better, otherwise, what is the point? #academia

Lots of convos recently in my field about issues with #metrics, rankings, and authorship inflation/manipulation. Yet, no one wants to discuss how #academics who do these things have a much higher chance of getting a job as we prioritize quantity over quality and narcissism over integrity. #academia
