Every year I see how long I can go without hearing Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time, the most dogshit of all the festive numbers. Heard it for the first time on Saturday, and again just now. I usually make it out of November lads 😭

Someone said they hope my short gets recognition, which is lovely, but.. animation fans are so annoying, that feels like a wish on a monkey paw lolol

This is THE tweet that has stuck with me the most, and it's also how I feel when I don't post my little video at exactly 1pm

My favourite filmmaking trick - Day 5/30

✨Did you know✨ There's never been an ad for a podcast that has made someone want to listen to that show

Day 4/30, a little earlier than usual to make up for yesterday's delay. I made gifts for my friend's baby, and for my god son

We got another cat and today my 3 year old niece drew her

Development of the Kitten Spit short continues! I have a sort of working script now, and I'm boarding badly. Day 3/30

Can't post today's short until I get home later, I forgot to compress it for Bluesky and the original is too big for the 100mb limit! Rest assured you'll get it later on x

One day I woke up and decided I wanted to do a stop motion animation. So I animated a simple run cycle, printed each frame and stuck them around my city ✨️
(Which btw, I felt super guilty about)

I love when reply guys are like "I've said it once and I'll say it again" or they link to their own past post and it's just something nonsensical that likely nobody listened to that time either

Becca and I made this wiggly picture frame and we love how it came out

Part of doing a series of 30 shorts, or a daily thing of any kind, is that you're going to like some more than others! I'm AGONISING over the schedule to sandwich the stinkers in between some good ones, instead of front loading all the hits and ending with a whimper

This is the first in the series of 30 shorts I've been talking about for a couple of months! Genuinely don't know why I decided to do it, other than it's fun to set a goal and to work towards it

As we approach December it might be time to admit that we're no longer in denim jacket weather

What Did You Do Yesterday is such a highlight of my week, it's a podcast that absolutely delights in trivial details, and a large chunk of the correspondence they go through on their midweek episode comes from listeners equally devoted to precise details, correcting them on things they got wrong

I've been moved to comp until the end of production, and it's humbling to realise how little I know about comp

There's a sex scene in the springsteen biopic and I turned to Becca and said "this is where he wrote born to cum" and the glare I got

I didn't do it right! It had loads of air bubbles, I should have used contact cement instead of wood glue, so I'll get some and try again
Lads I haven't used veneer before today and the amount of clamps and tape you need to get it flat is unbelievable, this is for one small shelf

I haven't seen anyone really talk about it but there's a lack of transparency around remaining annual leave in animation, it's a real problem. That info isn't openly available, so you've to message someone for it and hope they're correct, I've had cases where they haven't been
