Raising a monster’s ecosystem rank in Monster Hunter Stories 3 will sometimes have you be able to hatch Dual-Element Monsters, which are born with the element of the area they originated from, like this Tobi-Kadachi having Fire element from originating from Sunpetal Plains in Azuria

The main focus of the trailer is the Habitat Restoration system, where by releasing monsters back into the wild after hatching them, they can help the species recover in certain areas and doing it enough can allow you to find special monsters or ones with more powerful skills

So we got some news on Monster Hunter Now
Quematrice, Goss Harag, and Astalos are going to be added in season 8, along with some new armor skills
Also Riftcharged monsters are going to be a thing, with Rathian being the first. Insect Glaive is also being added in March 2026 in season 9

I think the thing that supports that idea is Thea also hatching a Paolumu after you defeat the Feral Chatacabra and her Tobi-Kadachi is a Speed monster while Pao is Technical, so she could later on in a Side Story get a Power monster to complete the triangle

Something I didn’t notice in the introduction trailer for Monster Hunter Stories 3 was that Barroth were spotted in the same armor the other Vermeil monsters are wearing
