I'm envious.

Knowing and having the motivation are two different things. Like so many people, they need motivation to get off their keister and inconvenience themselves. It's our job to provide motivation.

Because I have some hope left. I truly hope that the Dems will see the writing on the wall. If they do note that we the common voters are electing progressive choices, we have a chance at change. It's up to us to call them and write them and say what we want. Otherwise nothing will change.

A Trifecta alone is not enough. The do-nothing fossils currently in office must become the minority for real change to occur. Pelosi retiring is a good start, but not enough. Polite politics must die.

Since we have already seen a suite of progressive Dems being elected, I remain in hope that we'll get the Trifecta. Should the trend continue, there could be real change.
