I have family in LA but don't get to see them much. I grew up with the countryside being my playground, I do like remote.

I haven't tried setting any stones into anything that I've made but I will get around to it soon. I'll feel like a real jeweler then!
4.25 or 15mm is a tiny ring size. At least you wouldn't have to pay a lot for materials!

After brazing the ring together, I ground the wide section into a complementary shape to match the handle and polished it until it shines.

Braze the ring and edging wire together with silver. Clean and sand off the flux residue.

Roll and hammer the spoon around a tube that is the correct size for the final ring.
In this case, I cut some silver wire and bent it to fit along the edge of the handle.

Hi toots, I'm sorry for the slow reply. I'm dealing with a chest infection and a sickness bug at the moment.
I decided on this for Julia as it has a more general appeal but I could do most things really, it's just takes a bit of time to prototype and create a master for anything new. ❤️
