From september's retreat. thought it was crazy how many birds following the fishing vessels.

On another note, health has me in a really bad spot again but between sleeping, Ive not been idle. Making lots of new jewelry, art prints, etc in prep to sell at a weekly market soon. Think it'll be fun!

Pencil art for someone I used to know. I didn't have much of an idea how to draw horse noses then (still don't). But it's pretty.

Taking this opportunity to announce that I'm running a sale on Etsy! 25% off everything in my store from now through Dec. 6: drcsarts.etsy.com

A beach retreat from years ago took place right next door to the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse. This was the view stepping out of our cottage. #photography

Art for someone I once knew as Savern of his character of the same name. I still like that blue poof here. #art #dragons #fantasy #drawing #digitalart #artist

A new face! Like I need more characters. But I've had this guy trapped in my head for a while, so I think he's here to stay. Just redoing parts of the sketch before starting the line art. I love drawing deer faces, especially grumpy ones. Much expressions!

*Sigh* Another out-of-focus video. Too cute not to share though. It's so funny to me how sanderlings (?) will appear to be resting but still turn their bodies to keep an eye on everything.

Venus flytrap flowers, specifically those from a flytrap I had named Hydra. It kept blooming, with one flower stalk after another, which ended up killing it. I didn't know at the time how much energy growing flowers costs those plants. Ah well, lesson learned. #flower #plants #naturephotography

"Summer Hues", one of my oldest colored pencil works that I still consider decent. How many of you are wanting a break from the cold weather already? Cold weather came early here in the deep south. No snow of course, but a hard freeze! #art #dragons #fantasy #drawing #traditionalart #artist

Might upload more older photos and art until I'm up to getting to new stuff again. This is Godzilla - I mean another marine iguana from my Galapagos trip. #herps #wildlifephotography #naturephotography #animals #reptiles #wildlife #nature #photography

Didn't plan on returning to art before photos but I really missed drawing and wanted to do a simple portrait to get back into it. Here's Onika, the main protagonist in a really story of mine, in her current and likely final design. Hope this isn't too dark, #art #fantasy #drawing #dragons #artist

today I went looking for a rare bird sighted locally, a vermilion flycatcher. And I found him and got photos! Im very tired but have no regrets. May move those photos to the top of my pile to be edited so you see them sooner. For now, here are a few from said pile as a preview

Me: How many peanuts do you want?
This crow: All of them.

I think this is Babble. It's definitely one of this year's young. But with them grown now, I'm really struggling to tell them apart.

Been having a blast playing Vintage Story on a server with a couple of friends. This part is all my handiwork, a functional mess. But one friend is even more obsessed with decorating and chiseling than I so it'll get beautified. I need to build one more windmill first though.

Poor quality because these been sent down a chain from family. But just got some very upsetting news. A friend ive known since childhood and who's been here helping me and my family since the fire was in that red car.

Plants from around the yard. Mexican Petunia still coming back long after we uprooted the flower beds in front of the house, our Japanese maple after some rain, a cluster of palmetto buds about to open, and the fern-covered roof of our dilapidated old shed.

Every photographer needs some cloud pictures in their portfolio, right? I used to know all the different kinds of clouds but that was long ago.

Forgot to mention here that I'll be posting twice a day some days in an effort to catch up. #photography

Babble dug up a bite of hotdog they cached earlier, and all I can think of is that video of the guy walking in on his happy dog, Sam, who has a whole hotdog in his mouth. #birds #wildlifephotography #naturephotography #wildlife #nature #photography #corvids #animals

It's that time of year where the yard smells like rotting corpses because of all the mushrooms. There have been some interesting ones, like these fuzzies. They look like Fringed Sawgill but I'm not experienced enough with 'shrooms to be certain. #mushrooms #fungi #naturephotography #nature
