I help people report broken street lights, find out their bin day, plan train travel, manage an orchestra, locate the nearest postbox, research old theatre productions, keep time in a choir, and occasionally play board games | https://dracos.co.uk
But yes, the general point is obvious and self inflicted stupidity

To be fair on this particular point, the Misc does explain that this is for security reasons

Only 22ish years worth ;-) I see someone has linked to us already; TheyWorkForYou does show/provide all MP interests, has a page for every division, and the data is all available from there for linking to or using

I always knew the ELIZA effect was a real thing, but I never realised just how real

Years ago, I did make traintimes.org.uk/wmbus/ (click ticket planner) - see how there’s also a short hop calculator ;) Yeah, it’s not the easiest look up

Also the example they link to gives any governmental use as permitted, which I doubt the author of the article agrees with!

I also had to track down and manually apply github.com/ruby/securer... as bookworm’s ruby assumes a later kernel version.

There’s nothing on this server, but one domain I don’t have control over still points at it, so it sits there for a single redirect, and this picture if you know its hostname

Hiya, don’t really use DMs as haven’t verified, and it says I can’t DM you anyway, but happy for you to use them, sure. I’ve probably got a slightly less blurry one of the tunnel actually, will include here:

The 27 back has been diverted via Cotteridge, so clearly they decided they shouldn’t be going through.
Which takes us down the high street - now it’s past Remembrance Day, are the interlopers going to return and take down their poppy flags?

And when trying to get to Edinburgh more recently, and north of Preston was closed, instead of waiting hours in a huge queue for buses that might not turn up, instead trained back to Manchester and then York and then the east coast up. Again, anyone who checked was fine with this, but can’t be sure.

It’s up to staff discretion, I would hope in disaster scenarios everyone is accommodating, and you can probably wing it; I would. I once, to avoid a rail replacement bus from Ipswich to London travelling back to Brum, instead caught the train to Lowestoft-Norwich-Ely; guards chuckled but were fine.

I know Elton was supposed to be crazy, whatever, but that house bit was just too preposterous. It was almost like it was yearning to become a comedy, in other places too (whoops, the building exploded) but couldn’t summon up the courage

Yeah, not been working for NX buses since the weekend :-/
bsky.app/profile/drac...
You don’t realise how much you’ve come to rely on the bus live departures and live locations, until they’re not working today and you’re like “I have to turn up at the stop for a pre-published time? And hope the bus appears?“
