Calm and peaceful on campus this fine winter morning.

My meal prep while watching football today. Pork carnitas cooked sous vide overnight. Homemade red enchilada sauce using hatch chiles and homemade chicken stock, finished with pork juice from the sous vide bag. Store bought corn tortillas and cheese (need to draw the line somewhere).

Teaching the older boys about recycling… my relatives in Michigan save their bottles and cans to return when we visit. The deposit gets “up cycled” in the toy aisle.
