I use AI to assist in building Stash Hub, but for some reason I never expected AI to be used by customers to send me feedback.

This example I found unnecessary - a one liner would have been enough, but a good reminder to see what it's like to be on the "receiving end" of an AI generated message.

Trans people are seeing fewer and fewer spaces remain open to them.

Please support their right to exist fully and freely in our society, and urge the City of London to stand with them.

We are alarmed by reports that Germany is on the verge of a catastrophic about-face, reversing its longstanding and principled opposition to the EU’s Chat Control proposal which, if passed, could spell the end of the right to privacy in Europe. signal.org/blog/pdfs/ge...

This is kind of cool: today, Oxide and Friends is going to pass 1,000,000 downloads. I’m not sure what @bcantrill.bsky.social had in mind when we did our first Twitter Space in 2021, but I’m surprised and delighted to have reached so many folks.

I will buy this man a pint if I ever see him. More of this please. A proper boy.
A man on the streets of the UK is asked about the “problem of immigration” and dismantles talking points with ease.

Working on integrating eBay into my #Flutter app and it's a lot more complex than anticipated. I created a Mermaid Sequence Diagram in an attempt to understand it better.

Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) are a great way of recording why/what etc. for teams. But they're also a great way to provide context to AI coding assistants.
Using Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) with AI coding assistants
Last week my former colleague Doug Todd asked a question about recording decisions on BlueSky: Of course I replied suggesting Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), with a pointer to the at_protocol GitHub repo where we use them. A few days back Doug demoed how he's using ADRs with his coding assistant (Cursor), and I feel like this is going to transform the uptake of the approach.

I've been trying different ways of tracking coding/project "decisions" (e.g. I chose to do something "this" way instead of "that" way).

Having tried multiple different ways I think I'm settling on just having a "decisions" directory in the repo. This has the added benefit of adding context for LLMs
