Yo I was literally watching Demon Slayer while typing that haha. It's just sort of breaks "show don't tell". Like, almost just telling us this person we just met is having a full character arc in 10 minutes.

Anyways, the anime's redeeming qualities do make up for it, just wish for more focus.

Doubly so for side characters I don't give 2 shits about 😴

Best show I've ever seen was in a cramped room in a dilapidated building with 100+ people in the hood during the intermission of a jam. That energy can't be recreated in any sold out stadium.

Underground Hip Hop is exceptional, but also not something the media sells to suburban white chicks. People want some originality, find a local performance or a jam.

So weird for people to think Hip Hop's soul lies with millionaire artists who are already made it.
