i'm not sure if whatever long covid has done to our brain will ever really improve but i do miss being able to write code for 8 hours a day. art is nice, obviously, but i do miss it

it is not okay, and i do not think it will ever be okay, but it's closer to tolerable this way. it's important

this is almost like if there was an entire genre attempting to emulate dark souls but they're all obsessed with the "combat" side of dark souls instead of the exploration/adventure- ah wait fuck.

i would love to get a sharper lens but i do not want to be carrying more than one lens with me so which necessitates something ~versatile and means if i *want* something sharper than this tamron zoom lens my options are either 'spend $3500' or 'kill myself'

it's hard to joke about this, mostly it just makes me laugh sadly. wandering around in a daze, crying tears that you cannot feel on your face, throwing up, all because you read something from a certain time period.. it feels like a joke, something overblown, but no, this is just it, just how it is

things like bra straps are a particularly bad one for us. it's such a nightmare, it feels like there's an infinite procession of cutting gazes that follows us everywhere in public, no matter how much we put our head down or wrap ourselves in long coats or whatever else. awful awful awful
