Same concept as above, but using a different blending method to produce a "glitchpunk" look. I'm definitely going to end up doing more like this.

Since this pose is so simple, compositionally, it meant I had a lot of room to play with shaders and learn a few things. Some of the results were *really* cool.

An excerpt from Tsubaki's carrd. Titled "Improvisation", it reads: Having spent several summers as a self-taught samurai, Tsubaki was accustomed to adapting her fighting techniques for the problem at hand... even if that problem was self-inflicted. One notable example comes from her rowdy youth, when she traveled across Eorzea with her mentor, Musosai. An inebriated patron of the Coffer and Coffin — a tavern situated just outside of Black Brush — had singled Tsubaki and her mentor out as foreigners, and took to haranguing them. Tsubaki, reclining with her feet on the table, warned the man that she could cut him down without her feet touching the floor. The problem, Tsubaki would recount, was that she boasted as much without thinking through how she would actually accomplish such a feat. Musosai was also curious how she would fulfill her claim, and bade her demonstrate. And so in front of a crowd of leering onlookers and her skeptical mentor, Tsubaki unsheathed her blade and slammed it into the ground. She then hoisted herself up to its grip, her legs spread and feet resting on the sides of her blade, as if she were using it as a stilt. The drunken aggressor was reportedly so surprised by the maneuver that Tsubaki needed only to sock him in the face from her position to lay him low. Thus was her "High Tide Stance" developed. She would use the technique several times in her adventures as a surprise tactic, but never excessively; as one might expect, the technique puts a significant amount of wear on the katana used, if the blade is not outright unusable after.

Oyuun is strange; try as she might, she cannot learn magic by neither tutelage nor study. But once she sees magic (or any aetherological phenomenon), it just *clicks* for her. After that her only limit is her reserve of aether, which is why she researches body enhancement on the side. #aethermimic

It was as if Nhaama herself whispered its secret to me — a sure sign I am meant to study arcanima after all.

Tsubaki (SAM) was originally self-taught, and she was BAD. When she departed for Eorzea, she was merely serviceable — it wasn't until she met Musosai in Ul'dah that her art turned from an unrefined ore to a gleaming metal. It took him a bit to wrangle her capricious nature, though... #KakiNoSamurai

A few folks in my FC didn't know, so just in case others missed it: You can right-click on your character in the character select screen and import settings (including hotbars) from another character you've logged into recently. You don't even have to back up the data first
