Bessent might want to check the station how much "most Americans" have in savings.

Even with savings, I certainly care A LOT about the market because I'm not a psychopath.

That's literally how penicillin was discovered. I have my own thought experiment: Could an LLM have discovered penicillin using the current understanding of microbiology in 1928?

These ppl don't understand anything. To them everything is just some thought exercise that can be solved by just being smart enough.

So much of science is, "So this is weird. I wonder why X does that?"

LLMs will never have intellectual curiosity bc you can't create that using a statistical model.

These people don't understand anything. They think everything is just some thought exercise that, if you are smart enough you can figure out.

Large contributions to science are made from a process of coming up with hypotheses and testing. Things progress as we improve our understanding.

As always this remains evergreen.

So, we're just out of ideas huh? An AI powered dog washer?

If this ever comes into being and you put your dog in it, then they should immediately rehome your pup.

Yep, looks like a dead cat bounce to me.

As a Dem operative, you could be going through this thread to see how Americans themselves and other around the world perceive the state of the US.

Also, if you had any familiarity with Ryan and Hyun Sook books, you'd understand what a tone deaf statement this was.

That's not relevant, airports have specified flight paths. OAK flight through the bay, peninsula flight seem to fly over the city/coast. www.flysfo.com/sites/defaul...

They just lost the White House and the Senate.

Even when they are in charge they cede so much ground, it doesn't feel like governing. This meme sums it up pretty well.

Kinda like what Musk did for the Neuralink scientists? FYI, this is not standard industry practice. Usually authors are in the order of contribution level and CEO, if cited, are like the second to last author (corresponding author usually being last). pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31642810/

So I have been promoting this like crazy to friends but by coincidence this weekend I read Banned Book Club by @ryanestrada.com and it gave me some great context around the history of Korean democracy that was helpful in understanding the broader implications of what happened yesterday. 📚👀 #booksky

Google circle search (which basically does an automatic image search from what you circle on your screen) immediately called it as a chicken cooker.

This is a really interesting article exploring bird flight. The explanation of the complexity of feathers is fascinating. #scisky #sciencesky

Randomly checked Twitter and this post about Moana 2/LLM is the most bot filled post I have ever seen. Almost all the replies basically are versions of "talented people can be obnoxious", "skill with a quill is undeniable", "this was him last year with Wish", and AI sludge about sequels.

Certainly one of the more unique Cybertruck wraps that I have seen. I can't really find a coherent theme.
