I always have been a jazz fan but i dont post as much about on this account. Ive always liked this record a lot, but particularly this track. Chris Potter doing an ECM record is a good combo for me. A little out there conceptually at times but very cool!

I honestly regard the grays as one of the best bands ever. They have some amazing music and the combination of jon brion and jason falkner in the same band pre their respective solo careers essentially (and post jellyfish for both of them!) blows my mind

Twin Falls was i think the first built to spill song i ever heard and still has a special place in my heart. Its got quite a magical melancholy vibe that i dont think any other built to spill song has and is just great. I wonder what would have happened if i didnt hear it

I’ve made no secret of my Jon Brion enjoyment on this account, and once again I have one of his songs stuck in my head. While I prefer his solo era stuff to his stuff with the grays mildly, these songs are still fantastic and get in my head a lot

Got a CD copy of this Bette Midler album a few months ago at an estate sale because she covered “boxing” by ben folds on it, but the first tune off the record is also really great. Rest of the album is just ok but this first tune is a nice ballad. I keep coming back to it.

Ive made no secret of the fact that im a huge ben folds fan. I love all 3 of the original ben folds five albums equally but recently ive been really digging into the self titled record again. What a perfect record. So good.
