Shit, checking back on my 2011 phd student trip to San Fran, looks like I did 4 or 5 receptions an evening. Advice: ignore entry requirements.
Saw JZ Smith at one of those (for realsies), and told him his article on Maori was shit. And racist. share.google/5Raq5frCWlHZ...

Chaps: don't wear that beige-coduroy combo, like you're a Netflix caricature of an academic.
Rock a kaffiyeh and tshirt in Boston, that academic hotbed of academic genocide enablers.
Talkin bout you, Harvard!

Get free food and drinks in the evenings by reception-hopping. Do at least three receptions to ensure a balanced diet.

Can we trust you, @harvarddivinity.bsky.social ?

Which Harvard faculty are you censoring, for speaking out against the Genocide in Gaza?

Cf “attempt to silence the academic examination of the genocide, starvation and dehumanisation of Palestinian people by the state of Israel and its allies”.

Ha. Back in the day, me & a mate drove all over the East Coast of the North Island in a Wolseley 6/110. We did what we called 'stately waves' at almost every car we passed. Got a few grins back.
(Not quite the Princess, but pretty close.)
Went through as much oil as other cars went through petrol.

Mentioning 'laundering' might pose problems in translation.

omg - I just realized that there is a conspiracy theory or two about the timeline that would be on the timeline (Fomenko, etc).

Meta, dude.

This format would work well:

Sometimes they are more dynamic that that, and plotting the origin of significant conspiracy theories (both true and unlikely-to-be-true), would look great. I haven't seen anyone try.

Thanks for this. I have read the Uscinski/Parent and Olmsted books, both excellent in their own ways.
But, and I should probably have been more clear, I am after one of those tables or diagrams you sometimes get in the front of a book that are called 'Timeline of...' or 'Chronology of...'
