Got into photography in 1951. Used my mother’s box Brownie. Had my darkroom under the stairs. Developed my own film and prints. Had several cameras over the past 70+ years. Now shoot on Canon R50. Use Snapseed for editing. Living in Ireland.

Yes it is, but when we first moved there the town was on a downward trajectory. We moved to Whitby for my work and by the time we returned to the town about 7 years later it had improved considerably.

Super photo. It’s got all the elements of a good composition. I used to live in Saltburn and have ridden this lift many times. Your photo brought back many good memories.
