I think this meme is just asking AAA studios to stop focusing on making open-world games with hyper realistic graphics. There are indie games coming out now that still have older graphics. And players like those indie games because they’re reminiscent of the 16-bit/early 3D eras of gaming.

Yeah I’ve been posting more on Reddit too. I would say posting on Bluesky is still worth it. You just gotta be REALLY patient with social media. It takes years to build a following and get people to see your wonderful work!
