I totally agree. I want to see artists get paid but the mobile app is unusable and Tidal knows it and won't do updates. They've had the same problem for years.

Tidal mobile app is horrendous. Desktop version is perfectly fine but the mobile is glitchy and constantly loses your place when you open and close it. I moved there from Spotify but after 6 months of Tidal not working I moved to Apple.
