I've been away from the internet for more than three weeks now. No SM (not even this one), no doom scrolling, no looking for a rush.
I came to tell you. The internet is so overrated. Real life matters.
Unplug. Go outside. Live where it matters.

Because digital activity and identity is the most valuable currency people have nowadays, I prefer to keep that for myself. Scarcity is key.
And rather than to exist in the platforms, networks, banks and databases that validate me, I think I'm just going to be where I am :)

Realizing that, maybe social media was not made to share art (given that 'sharing' morphed into feeding 'data' to machines) or anything at all.

Dumb things that I wish I knew sooner as an #artist:
- Your hand is going to cramp when signing series or numbering +25 copies, but not when drawing for 4 or more hours.
- Your biggest clientele (and best) are other artists. Most of the time, effort appreciates effort.
Feel free to add to it.

Honestly surprised by the amount of great artists I have found on BlueSky. Mostly analogue makers, which coming from the old Birdsite (which was plagued by entitled-selfproclaimed-digital-rockstar designers) is really refreshing.

Feeling full of hope and smiling like an idiot, not only because I enjoy learning about tech, but also bc I'm one more step away from #Meta services. Bring it on!!
