Ah yes, that's a term they "flipped" as well - and also "pearl clutchers" they are using these days.
I think it's not laziness, but an attempt to de-fang the meaning by making it "theirs". It's sneaky, cause to many of them sneaky is synonym to smart.

The day that all the rich and well-off stop using their private planes to go shopping in Milan or dining in Paris or visiting a pedo's private island, is the day I will stop driving (or, if I get too old to drive).
