I don’t have kids so I mark time by how old the stock photo people are becoming in my 401k updates.
An email from Vanguard. A stock photo of A couple in their late sixties sitting on the floor in front of their couch, they seem to be having fun, but it’s more likely they fell and are stuck there. They are presumably looking at their Vanguard accounts on their respective tablet and laptop but are probably trying to call for help. For some reason they have color coordinated their clothing with their couch exactly, he is yellow like the pillows, she is grey like the cushions. Maybe they are trying to blend in? Some kind of camouflage? Maybe they’re being hunted and they’ve been found and they’re hiding in front of the couch?

I got laid off from my tech job, so I decided to become a famous actor. Today, I am an extra in the tv show TASK. I’m in a fire hall watching bikers get their makeup done. One of the bikers is called Fat Bob

When SPD distributed my book, they were in the middle of a labor dispute, but I didn't know right away. So they would post about my book on social media and I'd leave a thank you and then the rest of the comments would fill up with people yelling at them.
