Just to be clear, this isn’t my field at all. I’m mostly just a curious bystander tossing out half-baked thoughts based on very basic knowledge of the topic.

I follow. Launch emissions can be reduced with better rockets, but once satellites are in orbit their reentry mass is fixed. I’m curious how much reentry byproducts this adds to the upper atmosphere and what it means for ozone and climate, seems like we need more studies as constellations grow. 🤔
