Let me make this point again (different killing, same point): No one telling the "self defense" story about Pretti's murder believes it, and they don't expect anyone else to believe it. They are not covering up the crime, they are sending the message that ICE thugs can murder with impunity.

I keep reading about how embarrassing Trump's speech in Davos was. That is the very least of it. No country in the world will ever trust us again, and rightly so. They were willing to give us another chance after electing him once; surely we had learned. We learned nothing. We elected him again.
